Submission guide

Conference contributions for Roomvent are submitted through a two-stage process: first an abstract is submitted, and upon its acceptance, a full paper must be provided. All contributions will undergo double-blind peer review evaluation.

Scientific Paper refers to research that focuses on discovering, explaining, or testing fundamental principles, theories, or phenomena.These papers typically:

Technical Paper refers to research that focuses on practical applications, implementations, or solutions to specific problems. These papers typically:

The distinction between scientific and technical paper  is intended primarily for the review process and subsequent selection of contributions for a special issue of the journal

Workshop Proposal refers to a submission to organize and conduct an interactive educational or collaborative session at the conference. Unlike scientific or technical papers that present completed research, workshop proposals outline plans for facilitated group activities. For Roomvent 2026, workshops have specific requirements: they must be designed to last 1-1.5 hours, are exclusively available to conference participants and require an additional fee if the proposal is accepted by the organizing committee. A workshop abstract should be a concise summary that includes these specific elements:
