Technical Tours
All technical tours have a fixed price of 30 € and will be held simultaneously on Friday morning (9:00–12:00), so it is only possible to choose one tour. The tours will last 60–90 minutes.
TOUR A: UCEEB
Join a technical tour of the University Centre for Energy Efficient Buildings (UCEEB) of the Czech Technical University in Prague, located in Buštěhrad near Prague. The centre’s modern building showcases principles of sustainable and energy-efficient construction.
During the guided visit, participants will explore selected laboratories and research facilities focused on building energy performance, indoor environmental quality, and smart technologies for buildings and cities. The tour offers insight into current research and innovations aimed at improving the sustainability and performance of the built environment.

TOUR B: National Library of Technology
Explore National Library of Technology on technical tour to the largest science and technology library in the Czech Republic, located in the university district of Dejvice in Prague. The award-winning building is known for its distinctive contemporary architecture and open study spaces.
During the guided visit, participants will explore the library’s architectural concept, central atrium, and modern facilities supporting research and study. The tour offers insight into how this innovative building functions as a key academic hub for the Prague university campus.

TOUR C: Prague Congress Centre
As part of Roomvent 2026, participants are invited to a guided technical tour of the Prague Congress Centre (PCC), a major cultural and conference venue currently undergoing a step‑by‑step renovation and modernization.
The tour provides a unique opportunity to explore several of the building’s standout systems, including:
- Seat‑integrated air distribution in selected auditoria
- Advanced scenic and stage technologies used for major international events
- A large rooftop photovoltaic power plant, significantly contributing to the PCC’s sustainability strategy
- Key elements of the building’s HVAC and energy infrastructure, with insights into how modernization is implemented during continuous operation

Tour D: National Theatre
